Our Story

Founded by Anthony Thompson-Hayes, Race Advanced combines hands-on motorsport engineering expertise with a passion for high-performance vehicles. Every project is tailored and validated to ensure optimal performance and reliability, from workshop setup to trackside support.

Expertise and Achievements

We have successfully delivered projects including:

Historic LMP1 Vehicle MoTeC Electronics Upgrades: Modernised legacy electronics systems, including ECU, PDM, displays, data logging, and CAN communications. Replaced obsolete mechanical shift systems with fully programmed electronic solutions and provided trackside support for fine-tuning performance.
Engine Upgrades and Conversions: Converted older engines to modern, efficient, direct injection platforms, fully calibrating MoTeC ECU maps, tuning fuel and ignition, and optimising torque and power delivery for reliability and drivability on track.
Dyno System Modernisation: Upgraded legacy engine dyno to fully integrated MoTeC electronic control systems with automated engine run programs, PID-controlled load management, and CAN-connected displays and logging for precise, repeatable engine testing.
GT2 and GT4 Engine Development: Built and tuned high-output engines, including supercharged systems, balancing power, efficiency, and reliability. Provided hands-on trackside support to ensure optimal performance under demanding conditions.
